Why Hire a Professional Remodeler?
Hiring a professional remodeler means you'll be working as a team with someone who has years of experience in the industry. This professional contractor has experience in projects like yours, knows about the latest products on the market and takes pride in his or her craft. When you work with an experienced remodeler, you can be confident the person you've hired has extensive industry knowledge and may have earned a Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) certification. The CGR designation is conferred by the National Association of Home Builders on professional remodelers who have completed a rigorous course of study and testing. CGRs must continue their education in order to retain their certification.
A quality remodeling company also helps you stay within your budget and maintain an organized project. Remodelers are accustomed to working in occupied homes and act accordingly. This makes the project more pleasant for everyone. All HBA Professional Remodelers are licensed, insured, issue professional contracts and warranties, have been through an extensive reference check process and were interviewed by their peers before being approved for membership. All HBA Professional Remodelers are required to meet annual minimum continuing education requirements in order to maintain their membership.
The Value of Remodeling
Updating your home will add value, but deciding to do a remodel should not be totally based on an appraisal or the resale value of the home. You also need to consider the personal satisfaction or pleasure the project will bring you.
