Member Types

The HBA membership is broken into six different types of members; Builders, Remodelers, Developers, Associates, Associate Builders, and Associate Remodelers.  Each classification requires a different type of application.

Professional Builders	Builder members are involved in the construction of new homes   Download Application
Professional Remodelers	This classification consists of companies who are involved in residential/commercial remodeling and additions.  Download Application
Developers	This classification is for land developers who may also serve as new home builders. Contact the HBA for more information about Developer Membership
Associates	Associate members are companies who are involved in the home building industry but are dont directly involved in preforming any of the above mentioned work. Examples of Associate Members include framers, mortgage lenders, insurance agencies, and material suppliers. Associate Professional Builders & Remodelers	This classification is perfect for companies who are new to the home building business but want to be on the same professional level as other members in the home building industry.  If you are a builder/remodeler and can not supply five different home owner references, you will need to join as an Associate Builder/Remodeler.  The benefits you receive are no different then any of the other member types – just a different type of classification.  Contact the HBA for an application
