Part of the HBA's mission is to promote professionalism withing the building industry. We believe quality education is crucial to every
professional's success. As such, our Professional Builder and Remodeler Members and participants in the AGC-SIF Workers Compensation program must fulfil certain edducational requirements each year [see below].

The HBAL Offers a host of in-house edcuational seminairs throughout the year to aid in understanding a variety of aspects of the industry, ranging from sales and marketing topics to OSHA and other safety courses. Click here to be directed to the Calendar of Events to see a list of upcoming classes.
Annual Continuing Education Requirements for HBAL Members
Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler members must complete 8 hours of continuing education, 2 of which must be safety credit hours.
Associate Professional Builder and Associate Professional Remodeler members must complete 12 hours of continuing education, 2 of which must be safety credit hours.
AGC/SIF members of the HBAL must complete 2 safety credit hours of continuing education by October 31 in order to maintain coverage through the AGC/SIF insurance fund.
